Rehabilitation: An Honor and Privilege

To have traveled throughout our nation and world, been invited to speak, write, collaborate on research, consult and most importantly treat patients – – continues to be an honor and privilege. To be a true healthcare provider that is pushing for quality of life, rather than pushing paper, a blessing. I truly hope that those in physical therapy and other healthcare providers are in as a rewarding position for their own passions and motivations, as I have been given the opportunity to experience for the past 30 years. It gives me great pleasure, undoubtedly dopamine, serotonin, and oxytoxin…to deliver to my patients what they need in the form of a dosage, an experience, a nudge for those contemporary behavioral economists among the rehabilitation ranks.
